Geothermal heat pumps

Geothermal heating with Lithuanian-made IGLU Aleut heat pumps: heat from the ground, SCOP up to 5.79 and reliable operation even in extreme cold. Provides heating, cooling and domestic hot water.

For homes – IGLU Aleut Inverter

4–18 kW, suitable for homes of approximately 80–350 m².

For businesses – IGLU Aleut Max

24–90 kW for apartment buildings, commercial and industrial properties.

Why IGLU Aleut

Heat from the ground

Ground temperatures remain stable year-round, so the heat pump provides efficient heating even in extreme cold.

SCOP up to 5.79

The system produces almost 6 kWh of heat from 1 kWh of electricity.

One unit — three functions

Heating, cooling and hot water in one system.

Water temperatures up to 65 °C

Suitable for both underfloor heating and homes with radiators.

Inverter technology

Output automatically adjusts to your home's heating needs, preventing energy waste.

Built-in hot water tank

The Aleut WTI model features an integrated 180 l tank, while the Aleut I connects to a separate hot water cylinder.

24/7 remote diagnostics

The IGLU team can monitor the connected heat pump remotely and detect irregularities early.

Warranty of up to 60 months.

Standard 24-month warranty with an option to extend.

Assembled in Lithuania

Each heat pump is assembled by hand and tested under real-world conditions.

How does geothermal heating work?

A loop installed in the ground or a borehole collects heat from the earth, and the heat pump raises its temperature to the level needed for heating and hot water. The loop takes the form of a horizontal collector where there is enough available land, or a vertical borehole where space is limited.

All in one app

The IGLU Home Next app brings your entire home energy system into one place — from heating schedules to energy insights. Make changes easily and intuitively with a few taps.

Smart comfort control

IGLU Home Next – a home management app that lets you monitor, adjust and optimise all your IGLU devices in one place – from heating schedules to energy consumption analysis. Convenient, intuitive and designed for your everyday comfort.

FAQ

The cost depends not only on the heat pump, but also on the ground loop—boreholes or a horizontal collector—and system commissioning and adjustment. It is therefore worth comparing estimates for the entire project. We will prepare a quote after assessing your home and plot.

A horizontal collector requires sufficient available land, where deep-rooted trees cannot be planted and structures cannot be built. Where space is limited, a vertical borehole is installed.

IGLU Aleut Inverter heat pumps are available in 4, 7, 12 and 18 kW models and are suitable for homes of approximately 80–350 m². We select the right capacity based on your home’s heat loss and hot water demand.

Yes. IGLU Aleut supplies water at temperatures of up to 65 °C, so it can be connected to an older radiator system. The highest efficiency is achieved with underfloor heating.

Heat is extracted from the ground, where the temperature remains stable throughout the year, so the heat pump maintains its efficiency even in the coldest weather.

Yes, when replacing an old, inefficient or polluting heating unit. Applications are submitted to LEA after the heat pump has been installed, and different funding rates apply to ground-source heat pumps than to air-to-water systems.
