IGLU batteries work with hybrid inverters, which can:

  • manage the solar power plant,
  • charge the battery,
  • supply energy to the home,
  • transfer energy to the grid.

It is important that the inverter is:

  • compatible with the selected storage model,
  • supporting the required voltage and communication protocol,
  • with battery management system (BMS) integration.

If a complete ecosystem (HP + EV + storage) is planned, we recommend coordinating the solution in advance to ensure everything works as one system.

Capacity depends on:

  • the household’s electricity consumption (kWh per day),
  • whether you have a solar power plant,
  • whether you aim for backup power,
  • whether you want to optimize electricity costs (charge cheaper – use more expensive).

IGLU home battery capacities:

  • 5 kWh
  • 10 kWh
  • 15 kWh
  • 30 kWh

Simple orientation:

  • 5–10 kWh → for partial energy balancing
  • 10–15 kWh → for a medium-sized home with solar panels
  • 15–30 kWh → for higher consumption or backup power

1. COP (Coefficient of Performance)
