In the dynamically developing Vilnius district, the owners of a newly built 120 m² residential house were looking for a modern heating and hot water solution that would guarantee low energy consumption, reliable operation, and minimal space usage in the utility room.
Considering the airtightness and heat demand of the new building, a fully integrated air-to-water heat pump model was chosen, allowing efficient use of the available room space.
Solution: “IGLU Inuit WT 9”
A 9 kW “IGLU Inuit WT 9” air-to-water heat pump with an integrated domestic hot water (DHW) tank was installed on site:
- All-in-one: The integrated indoor water heater saved space in the boiler room—there was no need to install separate additional tanks.
- Maximum efficiency: The heat pump operates based on outdoor temperature curves and delivers the required-temperature heat-transfer fluid directly to the underfloor heating system, ensuring even heat distribution throughout the 120 m² house.
- Smart control: The system is connected to a smart app, allowing homeowners to remotely monitor and adjust the home’s microclimate and domestic hot water preparation.
